Director Parcel & E-Commerce Logistics - PVH Corp.The Director Global Parcel / eCommerce Logistics will be responsible to negotiate sophisticated parcel contracts and rates on a global scale, lead a team that is passionate about working towards continuous improvements of Global Parcel and N.A ecommerce operations through monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of key performance and financial cost metrics. Measure actual performance against published carrier standards. Hold Parcel carriers accountable to these standards. Have the ability to effectively develop, implement, lead and communicate parcel / eCommerce initiatives and strategies corporate wide. Additional responsibilities include leading all non parcel analytics of the departments daily responsibilities.
Enable the management of corporate Global Parcel service providers through quantitative analysis and Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reporting of service providers. Manage quarterly review meetings with all Parcel carriers.
Lead carrier global contract negotiations through a global RFP, bid analysis, contract management and volume forecasting Globally.
Manage the day to day operations of all parcel activity including eCommerce shipping and returns, field corporate inquiries and troubleshooting service issues. Parcel invoice audit, divisional coding and payment. Monthly financial reporting.
Identify need, design and manage the execution of business process improvements including shipment visibility & exception based management reporting platforms.
Report financial data on monthly expenses for Global Parcel / eCommerce operations.
Design parcel / eCommerce department dashboards for real time tracking and fast decision making analytics. Analyze the plan against actual performance.
Manage timely transmitted Parcel data to Accounts Payable. Identify, Negotiate and Manage the opportunities for cost control. Measure & report results of cost reduction initiatives.
Develop & execute reporting to the department’s internal PVH customers. Work with the department executives & divisions to define key performance metrics for logistics services to PVH divisions & warehouses. Report performance on a monthly/quarterly basis to the internal customers. Manage department staff to improve performance.
Additional responsibilities include the management of all freight invoice auditing, GL coding, tendering of payment to AP and financial reporting of said invoice cost. Management of 3rd party freight invoice platforms.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred
Logistics, finance or International business background helpful
7-10 years of Domestic / International Logistics experience concentrated in the area of Parcel mode / eCommerce Logistics.
Retail Industry preferred. Advanced knowledge of 3rd party freight audit and pay platforms
Analytical, Organizational, Interpersonal with exceptional Leadership skills, Strong negotiating skills a must with a understanding of Parcel contracts and eCommerce logistics.
Ability to communicate effectively and influence others through written and oral presentations.
Must be Expert level with MS office including Access & Power-point, SEQ, Power BI analytical tools
