KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Contingent Labor Supplier Performance to join our Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team. This role will support the firm's internal operations and is not a client facing/ consultant position.
Responsibilities:
- Help develop a best-in-class supplier management program, ensuring that we have the optimal mix of labor suppliers to meet our talent needs
- Collaborate with internal clients, suppliers, and program management to effectively manage day-to-day operations and resolve any issues that may arise
- Utilize your deep understanding of staffing supplier capabilities and skillsets to align suppliers with internal labor demand, and identify, source, and contract new suppliers when needed
- Implement a rigorous and disciplined process for evaluating supplier performance, utilizing analytics and report/dashboard design; lead supplier reviews and monitor key performance metrics such as candidate quality, cost, time to fill, and attrition
- Manage supplier relationships, develop improvement plans, track, and maintain supplier compliance, and execute governing agreements and renewals
- Build strong and trusted relationships with business partners, challenging the status quo and educating them on procurement policies
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in supplier performance management and contract negotiations in professional services or indirect procurement
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required; master's degree preferred
- Strong ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional senior management in a strategic and tactical manner; open to feedback and coaching
- Ability to think critically and creatively, executing multiple projects, RFPs, and contract negotiations simultaneously; demonstrated analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MSFT Excel and PowerPoint is a must; familiarity with vendor management systems is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt one's approach depending on the audience
