Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking Civil Engineering
Interns to join our transportation and airport service teams in
Appleton, WI. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team
dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.
This is an entry level position that will be involved in various
assignments that continue to develop abilities in areas of specialty.
Duties and Responsibilities Work as a member of a project team under the
direction of a Project Engineer/Manager primarily in support of various
projects. Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Research and
evaluation of data Conduct field reviews and other assessments Assist
with the creation and submission of technical reports, exhibits, and
presentations Take personal responsibility for quality of tasks
performed Use Autodesk Civil3D to prepare and check working drawings,
details, layouts and estimates Performs routine analysis to check
accuracy of data and work products Ensures division, regional, and
company values, policies and practices are consistently followed within
the survey service Lead by example - display solid judgment, good
values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism Required Skills
Outgoing, friendly, approachable Detail-oriented with an ability to
contribute to a positive work environment Demonstrates willingness to
accept new challenges and learn specialized field Growing knowledge of
profession as demonstrated by involvement in related coursework Basic
knowledge of software required for position Able to follow general
directions and work with limited independence on basic computations
Required Experience ideal candditaes will be in their sophomore, junior,
or senior year working towards completion of a bachelor\'s degree in
