Performs duties as an Electrophysiology Technologist. Utilizes specialized EP equipment; operates fluoroscopic x-ray equipment; provides direct and indirect patient care, quality control monitoring and reporting. Provides training for staff on EP procedures. Permitted to change patient from portable O2 to wall O2.

  • Education
    • Minimum:
      • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology Technology Program
  • Registration/Certification/Licensure:
    • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Healthcare Provider CPR, and ACLS
  • Experience
    • Minimum:
      • Two years of invasive/interventional radiology or cardiology
    • Preferred:
      • Two years in a full service EP lab
  • Other Requirements:
    • Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle single dose medications to include prescription and non-prescription medications. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle sharps, such as needles, suture kits, lancets, syringes, etc.
