QUALIFICATIONS

Individual must be able to safely operate tow motors after passing Ashton Potter certification.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in the maintenance of printing and finishing equipment, including offset and envelope presses, sheet variable imaging lines, packaging systems and other basic print finishing equipment is preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical problems. PLC experience is a plus
Experience in the operation of general shop metal work equipment.
Experience in the general trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
Knowledge of generally accepted manufacturing maintenance practices, processes and concepts.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
REASONING ABILTY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL ABILITY
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. May be called upon to move loaded pallets using manual floor jacks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection may be required. Steel toe shoes are recommended.
