JOB REQUIREMENTS: Wisconsin Public Service, a subsidiary of WEC Energy
Group, is seeking a Gas Design Engineering Specialist for our Green Bay,
Wisconsin location. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work
arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Green Bay office.
This is a job family (Associate Engineering Specialist, Engineering
Specialist, Senior Engineering Specialist) posting where the experience
of the selected candidate will determine the level offered. Job Summary
Using engineering methods, industry standards, and internal processes
and procedures performs specific duties of a broader assignment of an
experienced engineer; performs routine engineering related work
requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in
carrying out related engineering tasks. Supervisor screens assignments
for unusual problems and supports the Engineering Specialist; receives
close supervision on new aspects of assignments. The Engineering
Specialist position functions as a team member supporting gas asset
management strategies in various areas such as station operations and
construction, mapping and facility documentation, and code compliance
activities. The Engineering Specialist conducts installation, operation,
maintenance, and project activities with general instructions. The
Engineering Specialist supports design & construction, operational, and
code compliance activities of the assigned team while maintaining a
focus on safety, customer satisfaction, code compliance and financial
responsibility. Job Responsibilities This position is responsible for
the following activities: Station Design and Construction CAD Design of
Stations and Large Meter Sets Manage design object libraries to support
accurate and consistent design and BOM\'s Provide recommendations for
continuous improvement of design and drawing record management processes
Recommend and purchase equipment, materials, or services for station
construction Oversee Shop Fabrication activities to ensure compliance
with construction documents and codes Support and oversee Field
Installation, including resolving field issues Develop and Issue
Construction Drawings and Packages Develop Station As-built Drawings,
Records, and Flow Diagrams Station Operation & Maintenance Support issue
identification and resolution within technical area as required
Recommend and purchase equipment and materials for station maintenance
Support management of specialty miscellaneous spare parts and materials
