Required Skills:
Education Requirements and Experience:
Must be a Reiki Master Level Ill, or certified Healing Touch Practitioner, and/or a person held out by the community as someone to provide traditional healing and ceremonial practices and/or a midwife or doula. A minimum of 1-2 years active in holis6c-based service delivery to clients, with a preference given to
3+years of active holistic health experience.
Ability to speak Ojibwemowin with some fluency is beneficial.
Experience in Anishinaabe cultural and seasonal ways of life, including but not limited to; storytelling, berry picking, maple syrup, wild rice, netting, traditional medicine gathering, and spiritual practices.
Experience providing Reiki and/or Healing Touch traditional healing and ceremonial practices, and/or midwifery/doula with the ability to integrate that knowledge into services provided.
Experience and knowledge of traditional-based medicines and/or herbal ways of healing with the ability to integrate that knowledge into service and products provided.
Experience with, and understanding of, the benefits and limitation of holistic care.
Experience providing holistic methods in health care to address the underlying energic causes of disease rather than treating symptoms of illness or disease.
Experience providing holistic services to individuals who are experiencing mental health, crisis, or who are withdrawing from or in recovery from substances.

Travel between sites and other business-related destinations.
Work is performed within office settings or other professional with moderate levels of noise.
Standing, stooping, bending, and lifting 25 pounds.
Frequent use of arms, hands, and fingers.
Occasional exposure to high-risk situations.
At times this will require sedentary desk work.

Must be knowledgeable about various federal, state, and tribal governance of confidentiality and data privacy. Ability to promote holistic care that is safe for all ages and works in harmony and is integrative with other LLBH program services.
ability to provide supervision and direction to assigned Holistic Health Practitioner I on a recurring and as needed basis to ensure client safety and well-being and to ensure program and industry standard compliance.
Good oral and written communication skills and customer service skills.
Ability to develop program policies and procedures as needed or required.
Preference for a Master Level energy-based practitioner that is grounded in Anishinaabe cultural practices and spirituality.
Knowledge of the demographics, culture, customs, and geography of the Leech Lake Nation.
Ability to prepare client-based treatment plans and/or recommendations, as well as progress notes.
Ability to provide education and information to individual and groups, through formal and informal processes, concerning holistic treatment options for clients seeking behavioral health services.

Work Hours: M-F, 8:OOam - 4:30pm

License/Certification Requirements: Valid NIN Driver's License, current insurance or be insurable.

Summary: Develop, lead, and advise staff and programming that promotes and enhances the well-being of community members from an Indigenous lens and value system. Provide energy-based services (such as Reiki, Healing Touch, Traditional Cultural Healing) to address physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of community members. Coordinate and implement Indigenous wisdom approaches and cultural best practice models as well as energy-based practice modalities into services. Provides strategic advice as requested to effectively promote program services provided through the Leech Lake Behavioral Health Division.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for assessment of holistic health needs — ensures holistic health client care needs are met a variety of holistic and/or traditional techniques to address problematic issues presented by client to meet mutual goals and address client care needs.
Provide prevention and ongoing services that connect to holistic and/or traditional way of healing and wellbeing.
Responsible for collaborating, referring, consulting with LLBH staff according to client care needs.
Develop recommendations for follow-up or discharge planning for clients.
Responsible for building rapport with internal and external partner programs and staff.
Provide education to LLBH staff and clients on benefits of holistic health and wellness.
Responsible for documentation and data collection pertaining to holistic health services.
Provide holistic health guidance and direction to ensure Indigenous spirituality, culture and identity are integral aspects of service planning and provision.
Assist in developing, coordinating and implementing Indigenous Wisdom-based services for prevention, maintenance and healing for Leech Lake Behavioral Health.
Develop, implement, and provide opportunities for holistic health services with a focus towards Indigenous teachings and ceremonies.
Work directly with community members and LLBH staff and across other divisions providing education and support services pertaining to holistic health practices.
Develop and implement in-house training for staff in order to move toward a deeper understanding of holistic health services.
Records necessary data and submits quarterly reports on program's progress.
Willingness to obtain additional or necessary trainings according to role, program development needs, and applicable areas of interest as related to programming.
Travel as necessary.
Attend and/or conduct all mandatory and trainings as required. Attend program activities outside of normal working hours as necessary Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics at all times.
Understanding and sensitivity to Native American culture.
Adhere to policies governing staff conduct. All other related duties as assigned.
