We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Database Administrator in the Hi Tech Engineering industry, located in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. The role involves the management of database systems, ensuring their optimal function and security. This position is an integral part of our team, and we are looking for someone who can effectively maintain and improve our database infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain cloud-based Data Integration tools, such as Azure Data Factory and Informatica IICS.
• Utilize enterprise job scheduler and orchestration tools for efficient task management.
• Employ enterprise Managed File Transfer tool (Cleo Harmony or equivalent) to securely transfer files.
• Oversee and maintain MS SQL Server DB, Azure SQL DB, and SQL DB Managed Instance.
• Design, implement, and maintain Business Intelligence systems and dashboards.
• Analyze existing systems and provide quick solutions to resolve issues and meet new requirements.
• Apply knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical industry to enhance database operations.
• Utilize Java programming language for database-related tasks.
• Administer and optimize database systems for EO/IR systems, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and other relevant platforms.
• Implement backup technologies, cluster analysis, configuration management, and design controls for database administration.

• Proficient in working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in EO/IR systems is highly desirable.
• Proven knowledge and experience in backup technologies is required.
• Ability to perform cluster analysis effectively.
• Must have experience in configuration management.
• Prior experience in database administration is essential.
• Familiarity with design controls is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work independently and also as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Must be willing to keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and innovations in the field.
