Architecture Overview: We have excellent summer opportunities for
students who wish to gain hands-on experience in an
architectural/engineering/interior design environment. Paid summer
internships will be 10 - 12 weeks beginning on or before June 3, 2024
(some flexibility is available). This is an exciting opportunity for a
talented Student Intern to join our Healthcare practice group, working
on a variety of projects throughout the country. At HGA we work to

inhabit the spaces we create. The position requires excellent
communication, time management and technical skills as you will work
closely with Senior Project Architects and Project Managers developing
non-routine and complex design concepts in a manner responsive to the
client\'s needs and deadlines. The candidate will also have multiple
opportunities for client interaction and will help our team maintain a
commitment to design and quality for all types of projects. Application

Mid-August (With flexibility to start earlier depending on your school
schedule) In this role you will: Accept specific assignments and
develops concepts according to parameters defined by the senior
architect overseeing project assignment. Assure execution of and assists
with quality control activities for architectural elements on a project.
Review drawings, documents and submittals for document compliance and
documenting code review and compliance. Keep lead architect or
designated team leader informed of progress; recognizes problem issues
and communicates impact to team, and seeks clarity when necessary.
Maintain, organize and archive all project related documents. Make an
on-going effort to obtain IDP credits so that architectural registration
will be achieved. Interact and communicate effectively and
professionally with other team members. Perform construction
administration duties (e.g. RFI\'s, RFP\'s, change orders, etc.) You
will need to have: Bachelor of Architecture degree; Master\'s degree
preferred Experience on small- to large-scale projects preferred
