Drives and foster culture transformation according to Mattel culture and values.
Align organizational structure according to business needs in the short term, identify opportunities for the medium and long term and prepares the leadership bench for the future.
Supervises, directs and guides day-to-day operations of the distribution center including safety, receiving, warehousing, shipping, promotional assembly, maintenance/facilities.
Collaborates and Influence with: a) other Mattel areas such as (but not limited), distribution Centers across the network, transportation Inbound and outbound, customer service, commercial, AG Retail, EH&S, Finance, Logistics Continuous Improvement, Human Resources, Procurement, Legal, AG Retail, internal audit; and b) external partners, such as: customers, carriers, vendors, IT solutions, consultants, external audit.
Ensure the distribution center delivers upon established goals.
Develop short-term and long-term labor needs based on sales and inventory forecast, industry influences, market conditions, and other key factors.
Drives accountability initiatives and ensure accountability targets are followed at each level.
Drives productivity initiatives and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
Maintain and analyze key metrics for distribution center.
Drives continues Improvement culture identifying root cause analysis and corrective actions on Service and performance opportunities, based on facts and data.
Executes against annual financial budget including capital expenses.
Analyze and propose solutions to operational obstacles (layout, space needs and utilization, equipment needs, capital expense projects, major process changes...)
Works with direct and indirect reports to develop and implement plans that impact the distribution center.
Embrace network standard procedures, metrics and best practices.
Collaborates with corporate partners and other Mattel DC's to ensure internal and external compliance requirements are met.

BA/ BS preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field and Five or more years of experience in a distribution center operations leadership role
5 or more year of experience in a distribution center operations leadership

Able to forecast and planning, budget, develop workforce plans, develop and implement business plans and goals
Able to collaborate with employees at all levels (supervisory staff, management, executive staff, corporate partners...)
Strong knowledge in Supply Chain Management.
Skilled at creating and maintaining functional and cross-functional partnerships.
Able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms in English and Spanish.
Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem solving skills. Abe to analyses and interpret reports, graphs, and other data.
Strong ability to influence internal and external parties.
Strong mathematic skills- ability to calculate figures such as percentages, volume, cost, time.
Competent in MS Office Suites
Customer and Consumer Oriented.
