Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced assistant director to lead our Center of Integrated Technologies for Business and Clinical Solutions within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both healthcare management and information technology, with a proven track record of driving innovation and implementing technology-driven solutions to enhance business operations and clinical outcomes.

 

Work Location: Hybrid - Atlanta, GA: Mostly remote, but will be needed onsite for collaboration meetings; likely 4-6 times a year and will have advance notice. 

Description

Candidates with experience managing third party systems and specific experience in SCCM and ERP are highly preferred. 

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of initiatives aimed at integrating technology solutions into both business and clinical workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including healthcare providers, IT professionals, business analysts, and data scientists to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with technology vendors, research institutions, and other external stakeholders to stay abreast of the latest advancements in healthcare technology.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of electronic health records systems, healthcare analytics platforms, telemedicine solutions, and other relevant technologies.
  • Provide leadership and direction to staff members within the Center, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of technology initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and standards related to healthcare technology, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree required. A degree in business, health administration or an IT related field is highly desired.
  • 7 years of progressive Information Technology experience, including manager experience, required.
  • ITIL v3 or above certification preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in healthcare management, with a focus on technology-driven initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, strategic planning, and budgeting.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and HITECH.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to drive positive change in healthcare delivery.
