Required skills and qualifications:
- Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Mobility to move about the premises, must be able to sit at the CAD station for extended periods of time.
Education and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate from a technical school / Machine Tool Technology course
- Two years of work experience may replace education requirement
Typical duties and responsibilities:
- Use AutoCAD software to create drawing and plans
- Collaborate with engineer on projects
- Provide technical support for sales and manufacturing customers
- Quote customer specific products
Pay:
- $15-18 per hour, negotiable based on experience
- Multiple pay raises the first year of employment
