Description

As a Maintenance Assistant you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to maintenance, repair, and general handyman duties. This position requires a combination of basic skills in painting, cleaning, minor building repairs, and general maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Painting: Perform painting tasks as needed, including surface preparation, applying primer and paint, and ensuring a neat and professional finish.
  • Cleaning: Conduct routine cleaning of designated areas, including floors, walls, windows, and common spaces. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are consistently met.
  • General Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks. Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in maintenance, painting, cleaning, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of building systems and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in using common hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $16.50 - $17.82 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
