Job Description

Build machines, equipment and their subassemblies and follow the Hydraulic & Mechanical layouts and other written and verbal specifications.
Recognize problems with designs and parts and take appropriate corrective actions. Communicate any discrepancies.
Recommend improvements for area products and processes.
Job report labor correctly and in a timely manner.
Learn to produce quality work in a time frame that consistently meets or exceeds the expectation of Team Lead and Group Lead.
Adhere to the 5-S standards in the work area.
Interact with the teams on second and third shift to obtain positive results on productivity and quality.

Basic Qualifications:

Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
Basic understanding and use of common hydraulic/mechanical tools and torque wrenches.
Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations, priority changes, or new job assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

High School Diploma with 3 to 5 years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
Mechanical experience
