JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Perform civil and project engineering
duties in planning and overseeing the preconstruction of building
structures and facilities. Prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, change
orders, and monthly payment requests. Manage contract terms including
prompt invoice approval, resolving issues, and Certificates of
Insurance. Prepare, distribute, and track requests for information
(RFI). Distribute and track CB\'s, request for proposals (RFP), and
other change issue documentation. Collaborate with the Superintendent to
create a detailed project schedule, update project progress, and
distribute on regular intervals to project stakeholders. Prepare and
manage close out activities including but not limited to creation,
distribution and tracking of punch lists, O&M and Owner training, change
orders, contracts, permits, approvals, and Owner occupancy. Manage the
procurement log and submittal process. Review shop drawings and samples
for conformance to documents. Responsible for scheduling, preparing,
facilitating, and documenting job meetings and task meetings. Prepare
and manage the Owner contracts, consultant contracts, permits, and
approvals. Prepare instructions to bidders for review by project
management staff and participate in bid package preparation. Review and
negotiate bid results. Responsible for estimating, quantity take off,
and pricing. Manage budget development and strategic budget preparation.
Lead subcontractor negotiations. Promptly code invoices, issue change
orders, and resolve issues. Lead change order negotiations by utilizing
the change management process. Lead the incorporating virtual
construction and BIM coordination to benefit projects. Ensure field
personnel have accurate and up-to-date cost codes, labor budgets, and
quantities to plan and execute the work. Assist Superintendent with
short duration scheduling, quantity tracking, and timekeeping. Actively
participate in storyboarding efforts and foreman\'s meetings.
Requirements Requires a Master\'s degree in Civil Engineering or a
closely related field. 2 years of experience in any Civil Engineer, Site
Engineer, or related role. 2 years of experience in project management
and field engineering. 2 years of experience working on high rise
residential projects. Demonstrated experience with master schedules on
Microsoft Project and Primavera. Demonstrated experience with quantity
takeoff, cost estimation, and preconstruction. In lieu of a Master\'s
