Overview

Ebenezer Ridges Care Center/Campus is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to support our Skilled Nursing Facility in Burnsville, MN. This repairs position is responsible for supervising preventative maintenance programs and repairs building systems and equipment and grounds keeping for the buildings. 

* NO boilers license required.

 

This repairs/grounds/maintenance schedule includes: 

  • 80 hours in two weeks
  • Day Shifts

Ebenezer Ridges Care Center is part of a full continuum of care campus including Transitional Care, Adult Day Programs, Child Care, Long Term Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care for seniors.  We are located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital, conveniently located at the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, MN.

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Repairs and maintains work orders for residents' individual living apartment homes and community spaces
  • Keeps grounds and walkways free from obstructions including snow removal, and operating motorized grounds equipment
  • Monitors and performs basic repairs to HVAC, security, safety, electrical and plumbing equipment
  • Apartment turnovers

Qualifications

  • One to three years previous experience in a similar environment
  • Vocation/Technical training preferred
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Desire to work with older adults
