Job Description

* Possess skills to collect, process, preserve and analyze data from electronic data sources per organization policies and practices.

* Responsible for accurate and meticulous documentation of all tasks performed. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining the Chain of Custody (CoC), collection logs, lab notes and all documentation required.

* Generate formal forensic analysis reports in a clear and concise manner to a non-technical audience.

* Ability to follow through on leads until all possible avenues in investigating a case have been exhausted.

Required Skills & Experience

-Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)

-IAT III certification

-CSSP IR certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)

-Knowledge of chain of custody and the uniqueness of digital evidence.

-Demonstrated skill in performing post-incident computer forensics without destruction of sensitive, critical data.

-Experience with EnCase, Autopsy, X-Ways, and other forensic tools.
