Position Summary:
The NetSuite Product Development team is looking for a collaborative Software Engineer ready to grow into a technical leader. This position will contribute to existing products and systems through new market-facing features and enhancements, while developing skills in technical leadership and mentorship. SPS values collaboration and a passion for learning. You'll work closely with Product & Customer Success stakeholders, actively contribute new ideas, and be responsible for delivering clean code while guiding the team toward technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute meaningfully to technical discussions and eventually lead technical planning sessions
* Collaborate effectively with other teams to ensure seamless integration across systems
* Work with the team to design, develop, test, and debug new and existing software
* Build influence within the team by providing well-reasoned technical perspectives
* Reduce complexity through automation and scaling solutions
* Participate in peer reviews and pair programming, with opportunities to mentor team members
* Handle technically ambiguous problems by breaking them down into clear, actionable solutions
Location:
* Open to Remote Candidates. If local to Minneapolis, may be required to attend occasional onsite meetings.
Required Experience/Skills
* A combination of 5 years post-secondary education and software development experience
* Experience with Agile, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Java, Cloud technologies
* Proven ability to write quality code and tests that are maintainable, accurate, and follow best practices
* Hands-on experience with software development practices and problem-solving skills
* Experience in modern frameworks such as React
* Strong communication skills to facilitate technical discussions and proactively communicate status and risks
* Collaborative mindset and ability to balance multiple tasks concurrently
* No NetSuite understanding required

What We Offer
At SPS Commerce, we are committed to ensuring that each employee's compensation reflects their unique experiences, performance, and skills in their role. The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.
The annual salary range for this role is: $83,200 - $124,800. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
Additionally, you may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. An incentive award, if granted, is based on individual and/or organizational performance.
