HIRING Nurse Aides/Certified Caregiver Liliha and Kane'ohe Facilities

JOB SUMMARY

Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Aides/Certified Caregiver to provide quality care in our Liliha and Kane'ohe facilities. The individual will provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to the residents, as well as medication management and oversight. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The compensation for this position is $18 to $22 per hour and is paid weekly. In addition to salary, the successful candidate qualifies for employee benefits including but not limited to the following: health insurance, paid vacation, paid sick leave, supplmental insurance, and 401k.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as hygiene, dressing, dining, and mobility
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by physician
• Provide compassionate and loving care
• Monitor vital signs of residents
• Document care given to the residents
• Maintain clean and safe environment
• Communicate with the families of the resident
• Assist with dietary needs and meal service
• Assist physician or other medical personnel

REQUIREMENTS
• Must possess valid Nurse Aide/Certified Caregiver certification
• Must have a minimum of one year of experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Must be able to work an evening shift
• Must be patient and understanding
• Must possess a high level of compassion and care
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and their families
• Must possess agility and physical strength
• Must be willing to work with persons of various cultures, backgrounds, and abilities
