Your next challenge will be…

As a Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovation, collaborating across Process Engineering, Systems Engineering, Test, and IT teams to develop, maintain, and enhance applications supporting Manufacturing Operations. Additionally, your vital role provides second and third-level support to key users, making you a crucial asset in our dynamic health-tech sector, supporting a cutting-edge Medical Device production line.

Detailed Description

Your day- to-day activities will include…

• Integrating manufacturing environment systems and control system for a high volume medical production.

• Designing, developing, testing, debugging, and thoroughly documenting applications.

• Working closely with the team to maximize equipment and process availability, ensuring peak performance.

• Collaborating with business and engineering communities to optimize processes using state- of-the-art software tools.

• Adhering strictly to corporate policies in change management, incident management, and information security.

• Training users on application and database operation for seamless integration.

• Providing second and third-level support for the Shop Floor Control system and internal applications.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

What do we expect from you?

• Experience in .NET development environment, showcasing your technical prowess.

• Proficiency in relational database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.), demonstrating your data mastery.

• Experience in SQL language skills, a vital asset in building robust applications.

• Strong software design skills with a deep understanding of OO programming fundamentals and design patterns, defining you as a true innovator.

• Excellent analytical skills, enabling you to craft effective software designs for solid solutions.

• Knowledge of SDLC processes and the ability to work seamlessly with the team to follow them.

• A proven track record in developing clean, well-tested code that meets business objectives, delivering excellence is an advantage.

• Experience liaising with experts from different fields to establish optimal solutions, a testament to your strong collaboration skills.

• The ability to work with minimal supervision, taking ownership and driving results.

• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic manufacturing environment, showcasing your versatility.

• A good understanding of desktop hardware/software, networks, and infrastructure, making you an all-round tech enthusiast.

• Strong project planning, project control, and communication skills, enhancing your ability to succeed in this role.

Typical Experience

What are we looking for?

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, demonstrating your expertise and seasoned approach.

• Preferred experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry, highlighting your relevance in our cutting-edge health-tech sector.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical degrees with computer-related experience, underpinning your technical prowess.
