Numerical Control Programmer 3 Location: Everett, WA Duration: 6 Months With possible extension Description: Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete a Telecommunications and Media company of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment. Works under general direction. Composite NCP to provide Numerical Control Programming Expertise within the Pre-Cure / Green Part Space to support the manufacturing of detail parts within the 777 Composite Wing Center within the Everett site. Looking for skilled Programmers to create, verify, & revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation that directs the operation of Optical Layup Template & Ultrasonic Knife Cutting equipment. In addition, the successful candidates will be able to provide machine operator instructions / documentation for automated or numerically controlled equipment’s such as AFPs and ATLMs Must Haves: the ideal applicants will be experienced within the following areas: Composite Fabrication & Techniques NC Traditional CAD / CAM Systems Trim, Drill, AFP, ATLM Equipment Composite Tooling (such as mandrels and fixtures) Defect reduction, Root cause Corrective action, Problem solving Preferred candidates will have the following skills: Pre-Cure Composites Manufacturing: CATIA V5 NS2/nesting experience OLT (Optical Laser Template) USK (Ultrasonic Knife) Automated Fiber Placement (AFP)/Composite Tape Laying Machines (CTLM) Post-Cure Composites Manufacturing: CATIA V5 Vericut CATIA Advanced Machining Workbench Trim and Drill of composite parts Axis milling/machining of composite parts Education / Experience: AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
