Job Description

***Must have an active (or ability to obtain) TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph***
This position is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of all maintenance and operations support activities for a medium to large maintenance contract and/or small capital project. Directly supervises operations leads and other operations personnel as required.
Directly reports to the site operations manager.
• Must be able to lead a team of Stationary Engineers and Utility Plant Operators who provide 24/7 coverage, while making critical decisions on a daily basis.
• Must be engaged with customers, engineers, O&M and project managers, and tradesmen at all times to ensure all critical work is performed without interruption of service to all equipment.
• Attend Fluor and customer based meetings as coordinated with the O&M site managers to ensure continuity throughout all vested parties.
• Ability to have attention to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
• Ability to work after hours, weekends, public holidays and possible shift work to ensure 24-hour Operational coverage to facility.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all periodical maintenance or operations functions.
• Able to prioritize and schedule Corrective and Preventive Maintenance tasks within Fluor’s multi-shift Operations department.
• Must coordinate with trades supervisors and O&M managers in order to de-conflict major maintenance activities while maintaining safe operations of critical equipment.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Must be able to lead teams to ensure they work in a safe manner utilizing all required PPE, site safety plans and safe work practices at all times.
• Duties include inspects fieldwork performed; assigns weekly operations and maintenance tasking; maintains records of work order requests and completion; coordination of FIRB and CMB workflow; development of the on-going training program for operators; participates in leadership development initiatives for the site operators in coordination with operations manager.
• Supervises, assigns, and reviews the work of staff; sets performance standards and evaluates staff; reviews performance evaluations prepared by subordinate supervisors; trains, counsels, and disciplines staff; conducts interviews and selects staff to be hired or promoted.
• Prepares worker accident reports; identifies and resolves safety hazards for staff; arranges for employee safety training; maintains safety records and personnel certifications.
• Expected to act as an example for other site leads and operators. Delivers clear message to the team about management expectations and takes responsibility to complete assigned to the team tasks. Responsible for overall team emotional stability and environment. Supports O&M management team development activities and goals.

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Other Job Requirements

• Must have an active (or ability to obtain) TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph
• U.S. Citizen with valid driver’s license
• Required to learn and demonstrate proficiency in Workflow, SCADA and EMCS systems
• Proficient with MS Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

Comprehensive understanding of facility management, including plant operations, maintenance, engineering, janitorial services, safety, grounds, and related services
• Ability to delegate tasks and control completion
• Familiarity and knowledge of Work Order Control (WOC) procedures and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Construction projects execution experience

Salary Range

92,500 to 162,500

Market Rate

The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
