Job Description
The role of the Senior Information Technology (IT) Technician is to support multiple IT initiatives focused on Data Management and Artificial Intelligence proof of concepts.
• Assist in gathering and developing metadata for Project Execution datasets to support data cataloging.
• Assist in gathering and documenting data movement from source systems through transformation and consumption to develop a data lineage model.
• Collaborate with the Data Architecture team to ensure that metadata gathered is accurate.
• Review results with Business and IT Stakeholders.
• Document the end-to-end process from metadata gathering through capture into the data catalog and lineage repositories.
• Assist Data Architects as needed to assist with data administration activities.
• Support prompt engineering for AI agents in the proof-of-concept (POC) stage for various business groups.
• Test and refine prompts, documenting results to improve AI agent performance.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure prompts meet project objectives and standards

Basic Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent.
• Current enrollment in a university program pursuing a BS degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
• Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills
• Able to establish trust and confidence within IT and Business Stakeholders with a focus on business outcomes.
• Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills
Salary Range
42,500 to 73,500
Market Rate
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
