Job Description
Responsible for the Test planning, Integration testing, Regression testing enterprise-level ETL/DWH and Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) applications. The Candidate will partner and interact with various teams within Information Technology (Project Managers, Developers, Other QA team members) and Business (SMEs) to design, develop, and implement manual and automated test plans and cases to test ETL applications. The candidate must be familiar with all facets of a development life cycle and understand the role of Quality Assurance in the process. This is a remote position, and candidates will need to adhere to telecommuting policies, as applicable.

Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed.
• 8-10 years of strong functional testing experience in ETL/ DWH and MS BI Suite (SSIS, SSAS & SSRS).
• Knowledge of databases like Oracle and SQL Server is a must.
• Knowledge of SQL Server database platform is a must.
• Experience with SSAS cube testing is a must.
• Experience with SSRS to allow for report validation is a plus.
• Must have strong expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience managing QA projects in different phases of testing and handling project assignments independently.
• Demonstrated experience in reporting metrics and status updates to leadership teams.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams in various time zones.
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to guide other less experienced team members.
• Tools: Knowledge of Jira, ALM and ETL Validator is a plus.
Other Job Requirements
• Participate and provide input in creating test strategies, testing effort (ROM estimates) and identifying testing environment needs.
• Participate in implementing new IT QA trends and tools approved at Fluor.
• Able to manage multiple assignments working with people in different time zones.
• Ensure that customer requirements are met by designing and developing test artifacts including but not limited to functional test plans, test cases, automated test scripts and data mining.
• Execute the test cases using available tools and methodologies and document the testing results.
• Participate in creation of automated test scripts by providing input as a functional tester or developing the scripts as an automated tester.
• Execute automated test scripts and provide reports to the project team for review and approval.
• Communicate with the technical team for issue resolution and report status to the QA lead.
• Execute different types of testing including but not limited to, Functional, System Integration, Regression and Performance testing.
• Participate in POC (proof of concept) projects for new QA tools.
Salary Range
118,500 to 213,500
Market Rate
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
