Job Description

*** Active Secret Clearance Required ***

• Experience leading and developing a food service team
• Provide complete, high quality meal service
• Responsible for maintaining Serve-Safe standards
• Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
• Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
• Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
• Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
• Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
• Rectify arising problems or complaints
• Perform administrative duties
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

• Must have either: (U) An Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts, with minimum of five (5) years non-supervisory experience in food service industry AND have minimum five (5) years of Executive Chef experience in large food service operations providing cafeteria style or multi-entrée operations, or minimum of five (5) years non-supervisory experience in food service industry AND have minimum seven (7) years of Executive Chef experience in large food service operations providing cafeteria style or multi-entrée operations.

Other Job Requirements

• Experience leading and developing a food service team.
• Provide complete, high quality meal service.
• Have overall ability and willingness to work in a challenging food services environment.
• Responsible for maintaining Serve-Safe standards.
• Possess an active Secret clearance or higher

Salary Range

102,000 to 184,000

Market Rate

The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
